Visual Impact Course

Our training course is carried out on a daily basis and is in very high demand with our customers. The course highlights the importance of eye tests and prescription correction when necessary. With Visioncare at Home being pro active, we constantly strive to keep all members of staff up to date with any new innovations that we have created, therefore it is important to us to provide free unlimited training to our customers as and when required. Family members are also encouraged to participate with testing days and are also invited along to the course.

Alzheimer's Society and Dementia Research Centre at Stirling University has helped us create and develop our training, along with communication workshops that have been attended at Caledonian University. The training courses that we attended has helped our staff identify and understand how we can employ visual aids and non verbal communication skills such as body language, haptics, posture and facial expression elements  to support the conveyance of meaning.

The success of this has led to Visioncare at Home delivering the course to over 3000 staff in the care sector which helps them understand why we are the leaders in delivering excellence.
